Personal data we process

Website and security data — when you visit the site, Cloudflare and the hosting infrastructure may process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser or device information, request headers, routing information and security signals
Support and enquiries — when you choose to send us an email, we receive your email address, message and anything else you include
Munchy launch notifications — the launch notice button opens your email application with a pre-filled message. This website does not collect or store your address when you click the button
MQL5 Market — purchases and marketplace accounts are handled by MetaQuotes. We only receive information MetaQuotes makes available to developers where needed for support, licensing or marketplace operations
Munchy EA — Munchy is not designed to send your trading-account data to ALGOTS. If the EA connects to a public third-party data source, the request is made from your trading environment and that third party may keep its own technical logs
ALGOTS Obfuscator licence checks — when you activate or validate a licence, the Windows application sends the licence key and device identifier/name over HTTPS to the Lemon Squeezy licence service. Source files, project paths, seeds and protected builds are processed locally and are not uploaded by the application

Why we process it

We use personal data to run and secure the website, reply to messages, provide or support products, meet legal obligations and, when you ask for it, send Munchy launch or major release emails

The legal basis depends on the situation. It may be a contract or steps you ask us to take before entering one, a legal obligation, our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the service, or your consent for optional marketing emails

Munchy launch notifications

The Request notice by email link does not subscribe you to an automated mailing database. It opens your email application with a pre-filled message to ALGOTS. If you send that email, we may use the address you contacted us from to record and respond to your request for the Munchy launch announcement and closely related major release updates

You can withdraw that request at any time by writing to info@algots.net. If ALGOTS later introduces an automated mailing-list provider, this policy and the signup flow will be updated before that system is activated

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare for content delivery, website security, bot mitigation and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare may process technical request and security data in order to deliver and protect the site

Bot Fight Mode uses automated bot-detection measures and may run client-side security checks. Depending on the security flow, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance

Cloudflare Web Analytics is used to understand aggregate website usage and performance, including page views and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free and states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data

The ALGOTS Obfuscator uses the Lemon Squeezy licence service for device activation and periodic licence verification. This service receives the licence key and device identifier/name needed for those checks. Its own privacy information applies to data it processes for that service

We use service providers where needed to operate the website and communicate with users. Cloudflare provides network delivery, security, bot mitigation and Web Analytics. Email providers process messages you choose to send. MetaQuotes processes information under its own terms when you use MetaTrader or the MQL5 Market

Cloudflare operates a global network, so technical data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where required, Cloudflare provides transfer mechanisms including Standard Contractual Clauses and other recognised safeguards. Third-party services remain subject to their own privacy terms

ALGOTS does not sell personal data to advertisers

Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the relevant purpose. Security and network logs follow the retention settings of the providers involved; support and enquiry emails are kept while useful for handling and documenting the request and for any period required to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; marketplace and transaction records are retained where required by law or platform operations

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain a copy of your data and withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority that is competent for you

Cookies, security checks & analytics

ALGOTS does not currently use advertising pixels, behavioural profiling tools or non-essential tracking cookies

Cloudflare security features may use strictly necessary cookies and client-side checks to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or malicious traffic. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookie-free and is used for aggregate traffic and performance measurement rather than advertising or cross-site profiling

With the current setup we do not display a consent banner for analytics or advertising because no non-essential tracking technology is enabled. If that changes, we will update this policy and introduce any consent mechanism required before the new tracking is activated
